Our school strapline is “a student-centered learning community”. The success and welfare of our students is our top priority but we are a school community which is rooted in mutual respect between students and adults with lifelong learning at the heart of it.
We strongly believe that a school should be at the heart of the community it serves and we have worked hard to build strong relationships within our community. We have excellent links with our feeder primary schools and the cluster so we work closely together for the benefit of our families. We are lucky to be supported by our local elected members and other community groups. We will always do our utmost to share our facilities and support community groups.
We have also developed strong ties with local organisations such as Rothwell Sports Centre or Oulton Manor Care Home or those further afield such as the Leeds Rhinos Foundation. From this our students benefit from the opportunities they can offer as well as working to benefit their stakeholders.
